Hospital Co-occurring Disorders Program

This program provides care for clients with primary chemical dependency and secondary psychiatric diagnoses. Psychiatrists and nurses assess and stabilize psychiatric symptoms, evaluate medication effectiveness, and monitor for side effects. Many clients suffer from psychiatric conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression, episodes of posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety and panic disorders. Treatment, which is highly individualized, includes group therapy sessions, individual psychotherapy, addiction education, family programming, mental health seminars, 12-Step meetings and aftercare planning.

Non-Hospital Co-occurring Disorders Program

This specialized program provides residential care for individuals with a primary chemical dependency diagnosis and secondary psychiatric diagnoses. Clients who have been stabilized but are in need of extensive psychosocial rehabilitation receive intensive and individualized treatment. Clients learn how to manage their psychiatric symptoms and develop relapse prevention skills.
